Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Jaesim (the 'Company') and users in connection with the services provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Effect of the Terms)

These Terms take effect when a user agrees during registration. The Company may amend the Terms, and amended Terms take effect through notices or notifications within the service. Users can review amended Terms within the service app.

Article 3 (Definitions)

1. Company: Jaesim Co., Ltd., the provider of the Jaesim service 2. Service: All services and functions provided by the Company 3. Member: A person who registers and uses the service 4. Non-member: A person who uses the service without registering 5. User: Members and non-members using the service under these Terms 6. Log records: Service usage records such as access time and viewing history 7. Device information: Device type, OS, and similar information collected from user devices 8. Notification means: Pop-ups, push notifications, notices, and similar tools 9. Contact information: Email and other contact details collected during registration or support inquiries 10. Related laws: The Information Network Act, Personal Information Protection Act, Communications Secrets Protection Act, and other applicable laws Undefined terms follow general usage and customary practice.

Article 4 (Display and Amendment)

The Company posts these Terms on registration and account management screens and may amend them to the extent permitted by law. If a member does not agree to amended Terms, the member may terminate the service agreement. If no objection is made within 30 days, the amendment is deemed accepted. Members may not accept or reject only part of the Terms, and non-members who use the service are deemed to have accepted them as well.

Article 5 (Provision of Services)

The Company provides the following services. 1. Convenience services that support life management 2. Services related to life management, memorial halls, and funeral home information 3. Discount, event, promotion, and advertising information services 4. Services provided in cooperation with other companies or organizations 5. Other services determined by the Company The Company may change the services for operational or technical reasons. Service availability may vary based on user information and usage records. The Company may suspend services without prior notice if service provision becomes difficult due to force majeure, internet failures, or serious business issues. The Company is not responsible for damages arising from external linked services, agreements between users, authenticity or availability of posts and information, or causes attributable to users or other causes not attributable to the Company.

Article 6 (Notices to Members)

The Company may notify members through in-service notifications and member contact information. For notices to multiple members, the Company may replace individual notice with a public notice. If a member does not respond within 30 days, the notice may be deemed accepted.

Article 7 (Advertising)

The Company may display advertisements within the service to support service operations. The Company may use service usage records to present advertisements. If a member agrees to receive promotional information, the Company may send it through in-service notifications or the member's contact information. The Company is not responsible for damages arising from advertisements or the delivery of consented promotional information.

Article 8 (Payment Methods)

Members may use paid services through payment methods provided by the Company. Monthly cumulative payment amounts and charging limits may be restricted according to Company policies and the standards of carriers, card issuers, app markets, or other payment providers. Detailed payment matters follow the Jaesim service policy and any applicable recurring billing guidance.

Article 9 (Withdrawal and Termination)

For app market payments, including in-app purchases, the Company will take measures required under applicable consumer protection laws, such as requesting suspension or cancellation of payment. App market policies still apply to the app market's own procedures. If a member withdraws or terminates a contract under this Article, data recorded or stored while using paid services may not be recoverable unless otherwise required by law or Company policy. If the Company and the entity receiving payment are different, they may bear joint responsibility for refund-related obligations.

Article 10 (Restriction and Termination by the Company)

If a member violates applicable law, the Jaesim terms, or these Terms, the Company may restrict service use for a period or terminate the service agreement. Restriction or termination takes effect when the Company expresses that intention through its established notice method. Members may object through the Company's procedures, and if the objection is found valid, the Company will promptly restore service access.

Article 11 (Overpayments)

If a member is overcharged, the Company will refund the full amount using the same method of payment whenever possible and will notify the member in advance if another method is required. If the overcharge is attributable to the Company, the Company bears the full refund including relevant fees. If the overcharge is attributable to the member, the member may bear reasonable costs incurred in processing the refund.

Article 12 (Obligations of the Company)

The Company will not engage in acts prohibited by law or contrary to these Terms and will strive to provide services continuously and stably. If the Company recognizes a user's complaint or opinion as justified, it will process the matter and inform the user of the result. The Company keeps the following records in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws. 1. Records related to contracts or withdrawal: 5 years 2. Records related to payment and supply of goods or services: 5 years 3. Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution: 3 years

Article 13 (Obligations of Members)

Members must comply with these Terms, Company rules, notices, and applicable laws and must not do the following. 1. Register false information or use another person's account, password, identity, or verification without permission 2. Use paid services with another person's name, card information, or account information 3. Access the service or systems through abnormal methods outside the intended service flow 4. Copy, distribute, or commercially use Company information without prior consent 5. Damage another person's reputation or cause disadvantages 6. Infringe the Company's or a third party's copyrights or other rights 7. Use the service for profit-making purposes 8. Upload or distribute malware or harmful materials 9. Copy, modify, sell, lease, pledge, reverse engineer, or extract source code from the service or software without consent 10. Impersonate the Company, its affiliates, employees, operators, or third parties 11. Transmit or post information prohibited by law 12. Abuse the service through repeated purchases and cancellations or similar unfair conduct 13. Violate applicable law, these Terms, service guidelines, or interfere with normal service operations

Article 14 (Suspension and Changes to Services)

In principle, the Company provides services 24 hours a day, year-round, except for separately announced maintenance periods. The Company may temporarily suspend services due to maintenance, replacement, failure of facilities, communication interruptions, or other substantial operational reasons. When possible, prior notice will be given; otherwise notice may follow afterward. The Company may change all or part of the services for operational or technical reasons. Material or disadvantageous changes will be notified. If a member does not agree to a service change, the Company will try to continue the pre-change service. If that is not possible, the Company may suspend the relevant service or terminate the contract. If service provision becomes impossible due to business transfer, abandonment, division, or merger, the Company will provide notice and handle compensation according to these Terms or separate notice.

Article 15 (Limitation of Liability)

The Company is not liable when it cannot provide services due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure. The Company is also not liable for temporary suspension or performance limits caused by maintenance, replacement, inspections, or construction of related facilities. The Company is not responsible for losses resulting from a user's intent, negligence, lack of understanding of service use, device loss, disclosure of account credentials, or failure to manage them properly.

Article 16 (Interpretation)

Matters not specified in these Terms and the interpretation of these Terms are governed by applicable laws, including laws on information networks, consumer protection in electronic commerce, regulation of terms and conditions, digital content user protection guidelines, and customary commercial practice.

Article 17 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)

Any lawsuit arising from a dispute between the Company and a user is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Suwon District Court in the Republic of Korea. If the user's address or residence is unclear at the time of filing, or if the user resides outside Korea, the competent court under the Civil Procedure Act applies. Rights to content created by the Company belong to the Company, while rights to user-created content belong to the user. However, the Company may use, edit, or provide user content to partners without charge to the extent reasonably necessary for service operation, expansion, and promotion, provided that personal information is not disclosed.

Article 18 (Supplementary Provision)

These Terms were last updated on October 28, 2025. If other terms or in-service guidance provide different rules during service use, those rules may take precedence. Matters not stated in these Terms follow applicable law and customary practice.
